Hi! I'm Kristin, your birth and postpartum doula!

My love for birth and caring for little ones began when I was just eleven years old, when my mom welcomed my baby sister. From that moment, I found myself fascinated by the beauty of birth and the incredible beginning of a new life.

That early love eventually led me to pursue an education in Early Childhood Education and Infant Development. My education gave me the opportunity to work with young children and families at Claremont Presbyterian Children’s Center in California, where I gained valuable experience caring for and nurturing little ones during their earliest years.

When my own children came along, I made the decision to step away from my work so I could focus on caring for them and being present for my own family. Motherhood has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life and has given me an even deeper appreciation for the unique journey every family takes.

Why I became a doula

My own birth experiences have been wonderfully and wildly different from one another. Through each of them, I was fortunate to have a doula by my side. All five of my doulas provided invaluable support, encouragement, reassurance, and a steady presence when I needed it most.

Those experiences showed me firsthand just how meaningful compassionate doula support can be.

I want to offer that same gift to other families.

Now, I am excited to bring together my lifelong love of birth, my education in early childhood and infant development, my experience as a mother, and the support I’ve received from my own doulas as I begin this new chapter as a birth and postpartum doula.

Walking alongside you

Becoming a parent is a life-changing journey, and no two births or families are exactly alike. My desire is to walk alongside you with a calm presence, a listening ear, and compassionate support.

Whether you are preparing for your first baby or welcoming another little one, planning a home birth or hospital birth, I want you to feel heard, respected, informed, and cared for.

I believe you deserve someone in your corner who will encourage you, help you feel prepared, and remind you of your own strength throughout this incredible transition.

It would be an honor to walk beside you.

With warmth,
Kristin, PCD (DONA)
